Celebrity Guest Says He’s Not Returning To WWE WWE

IShowSpeed has reflected on his WWE Royal Rumble appearance and decided that he’s not going back, listing his “injuries” as a deciding factor.

The social media influencer appeared in the Men’s Royal Rumble match on February 1, 2025, and succumbed to a Spear from Bron Breakker and was then put through the announce table by Otis, as can be seen below this news story.

Following his short time in the Royal Rumble, Speed shared a backstage photo sporting crutches and a neck brace with it also being noted he had suffered a legitimate gash to the leg.

The “injuries” that led to the neck brace and crutches have clearly made IShowSpeed rethink his future as a WWE star, according to a recent live stream with Kai Cenat in which he jokingly said:

“Bro, I’m not going back to WWE.

“(When asked why) Why? What you mean, why? I broke my damn neck, and I messed my rib cage up.

“I couldn’t walk for two days. I couldn’t walk for two damn days.”

IShowSpeed had previously commented that he intended to return at the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and called out a number of WWE stars, including Roman Reigns.

Speaking on Impaulsive, Logan Paul reflected on IShowSpeed’s in-ring debut, noting the reaction his fellow influencer received.

During the episode, Paul would tease the possibility of a match featuring himself, IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat.

Cenat was also in attendance at the Royal Rumble and had a tense confrontation with Paul after the WWE star’s elimination.

As for IShowSpeed, it was recently reported that WWE was happy with the influencer’s performance with a clear desire to work with him again, potentially at WrestleMania.
