WWE Star ‘Happy’ With Current Role Despite Push Rumors WWE

A popular WWE star is happy with his current role on television, despite previous rumors of Triple H’s planned push for the tag team member.

It had previously been reported that Triple H was interested in pushing Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable as “more of a serious singles star.”

Gable and Otis had been “on the fence” about a possible split, with their long-term friendship playing a part in their concern.

It had previously been revealed that Cody Rhodes had wanted to bring Gable into AEW and FTR’s Dax Harwood has also referred to Gable as the “most underrated wrestler in the world.”

Gable has now commented on future plans, in an exclusive conversation with GIVEMESPORT, saying:

“We’re in a very cool spot. We’re still a team, but they’re also using me in these singles matches, giving me some of the top guys in the company.

“I’m perfectly happy continuing as it is. Long-term, I’ve explored everything there is to do in tag wrestling, so I do want to see what I can do as a singles wrestler.”

Alpha Academy was featured in the WrestleMania 39 Showcase Men’s Tag Team Match with Street Profits, Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman & Ricochet.

Highlights from this encounter, which saw Street Profits victorious, can be seen in the video below this news story.

Gable was also recently seen on the WWE Raw after Wrestlemania in the background of a segment having a heated debate about Otis’ hair with Maximum Male Models’s Maxxine Dupri.
