WWE Star Mentions Chad Gable’s ‘Shorty G’ Gimmick Live On Air WWE

A WWE star referenced the abandoned ‘Shorty G’ gimmick for Chad Gable live on television ahead of Gable’s title match tonight.

Big E shared an intriguing theory regarding the recent shift in behavior of Chad Gable and it is quite spot on.

Referencing the not so distant past character iteration ‘Shorty G’, the bizarre version of Gable in 2019 and 2020, Big E mentioned that it is possible the star has lingering symptoms from a traumatizing time.

Big E said of the shift in character for Chad Gable:

“I think one of the things that we haven’t discussed is… I have a theory. The possible latent trauma or PTSD from being saddled as Shorty G.

“You put an Olympian in a tank top and some long shorts, can you blame the man for snapping? I don’t.”

And snap he has done, Gable going from being a cheerful leader to a tyrant leader, seemingly already alienating Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa by his antics.

However remaining loyal (for now at least) is Otis who has accompanied Gable to his big Intercontinental Championship opportunity at King and Queen of the Ring on May 25.

Chad Gable will challenge Sami Zayn and Big Bronson Reed in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship.
