Former AEW talent Megan Bayne has expressed interest in having a rematch against a current WWE star.
The WWE NXT women’s division has had a notable expansion this year, with several top stars including former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia joining the company.
While fans have shared many dream matches for Giulia within WWE, Megan Bayne has now thrown her hat into the ring for a future bout against the popular star.
Bayne responded to a tweet from a fan who noted that Giulia vs Bayne for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship at last December’s Stardom Dream Queendom event was one of their favourite Giulia matches ever.
Noting that she can’t wait until she and Giulia get another chance to ‘kill each other’, Bayne wrote:
After this match Giulia said we should fight until we are dead
can’t wait until we get the chance to kill each other again my friend 👹
Bayne currently wrestles on the independent scene, most recently facing Parrow at the November 29 GCW You Wouldn’t Understand event.
She previously wrestled for AEW, competing on AEW Dark, and on a dark match on Rampage from April 2021 to June 2023.
While it was confirmed in November 2023 that AEW had signed Megan Bayne, and reported in May that creative pitches had been made for her, hasn’t made her AEW re-debut at the time of writing.
