WWE Stars Challenge For TNA Wrestling Championship

A pair of WWE stars challenged for a title on tonight’s airing of TNA Wrestling Impact, accompanied by a third star to introduce them.

WWE NXT star Arianna Grace made an appearance on TNA Impact to not only congratulate the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions but also offer them a new team to face.

Telling the TNA Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) that she had been keeping her eye on the division, Grace said she had a pair of opponents for them.

NXT stars Carlee Bright & Kendal Grey made their entrance and took part in a match in which they lost, with Spitfire retaining the title.

Spitfire kept hold of their newly captured championship as the duo of Dani Luna and Jody Threat became champions at TNA Wrestling Victory Road on September 13.

In that match, Spitfire beat Masha Slamovich and Tasha Steelz in a bout that would have meant Spitfire would have to disband had they lost.
