WWE Star Challenges For Another Promotion’s Heavyweight Championship

Here’s what happened when a WWE star challenged for another promotion’s heavyweight championship on Saturday, September 13.

With it previously being announced that Ivar of the War Raiders would be challenging for Mortar’s Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship at Chaotic Wrestling’s 25 Year Anniversary Celebration event, there was a lot of speculation about the result of this title bout.

Ivar ultimately didn’t walk away with the gold, with the WWE star’s match against Mortar ending via disqualification, following interference from Chase Del Monte.

After Chase delivered a low blow to Mortar, he and Ivar teamed up to continue beating Mortar down, before Brian Milonas made his return to make the save.

Ivar and Milonas traded shots, leading to Bryan Logan, JT Dunn and Brian Fury entering the brawl.

After things calmed down, Ivar was invited back into the ring, where he praised the current roster, stating that Chaotic Wrestling is in very good hands.

Ivar last wrestled for WWE at the September 8 WWE Main Event taping, teaming with Erik to defeat Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde of the LWO, in a match which aired on the September 13 episode.
