WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has revealed what he wants to steal from John Cena’s career ahead of his retirement.
With John Cena only having three dates remaining ahead of his WWE retirement on December 13, Cody Rhodes is currently featured as the top babyface star of WWE.
Cody defeated Cena to end his record-setting 17th World Championship reign at SummerSlam, and he has now opened up on what from Cena’s iconic career he is hoping to steal.
Speaking on What Do You Wanna Talk About?, Cody noted that he is trying to improve on feats of strength in his own career.
He said:
“I always look at Cena’s career and I try to steal as much as I can, and one of the things he did really well that I’m trying to improve on is feats of strength.
“He’d have this unbelievable… because he truly was, you know, Hard Nock’s. He’s training with Rob.
“That’s where that stuff actually comes in handy. Being able to do something that someone sitting in the seat can’t do, and gets excited about, invigorated about.”
