Jeff Hardy is reportedly suffering from a pinched nerve, and this has kept the WWE United States Champion off TV.
According to PWTorch’s Jonny Fairplay, the pinched nerve has caused some numbness in Hardy’s fingers and other issues. Hardy’s last televised appearance came in a non-title loss to Daniel Bryan on the May 22nd edition of SmackDown Live.
Before that, Hardy’s televised appearances were sparse and he was rarely used throughout May. He retained his United States title against Randy Orton at Backlash on May 6th and then lost to The Miz on the May 8th edition of SmackDown Live in non-title action.
Since the limited television appearances, Hardy has more recently been working some dark matches and live appearances. Hardy most recently teamed with Daniel Bryan to defeat Big Cass and The Miz after Tuesday’s 205 Live tapings.
As things stand, there are no plans for Hardy heading into the Money in the Bank event. Many assumed Hardy would feature in some capacity, due to his affiliation with ladder matches.
We all wish Jeff a speedy recovery and hope in the future he calms down his pre-match rituals.
