WWE Star Wants New World Title For Champion Vs Champion Bout Against Roman Reigns WWE

WWE star Baron Corbin has noted that he wants to win the World Heavyweight Championship to have a… unique match with Roman Reigns.

When Triple H unveiled the new world title on the April 24 edition of Raw, the chief content officer indicated that the titleholder will be a fighting champion, and won’t have Roman Reigns’ part-time schedule.

Roman Reigns is currently recognised as WWE’s Undisputed Universal Champion, after unifying the WWE and Universal titles in April 2022.

Speaking with Catch Club, Baron Corbin noted that he wants to win the new World Heavyweight Championship, then battle Roman Reigns in a champion vs champion contest.

Teasing fans, Corbin said:

” I want a shot at that new title.

“One of my favorite titles in WWE history is that World Heavyweight Championship and I always remember Batista wearing it, Edge having it, and it was always so cool to me.

“Just sort of get one that kind of signifies that would be amazing.

“Then one day, I think it would be epic to be Champion versus champion, myself as Heavyweight Champion on Raw and Roman Reigns as Universal Champion and we go to war over the two. (That) would be amazing.”

While Corbin has proven that he’s a natural heel, the star recently broke character when he received a huge babyface reaction at a live event in Paris, which you can read more about right here.
