Here’s what happened during WWE US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura’s crossover match at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s The New Year 2025.
Shinsuke Nakamura has been a key figure in WWE’s partnership with Pro Wrestling NOAH, with Nakamura notably returning to the Japanese promotion to battle the Great Muta at The New Year 2023.
The WWE US Champion has once again returned to the promotion two years on, this time to face off against Ulka Sasaki in a non-title match.
Nakamura was ultimately victorious, defeating the former UFC competitor. You can view clips from Nakamura’s entrance and match below.
The WWE star notably made his entrance with his US Championship, which he won from LA Knight at this past November’s Survivor Series War Games event.
Nakamura hasn’t wrestled for WWE since winning the gold, so his win over Sasaki marked his first match back.
Another WWE star was in action at NOAH The New Year 2025, with Omos winning a championship during his in-ring return.
