WWE Speed Champion Ricochet has responded to a call for him to have more TV time during his current championship reign.
Ricochet became the inaugural WWE Speed Champion during the May 3 edition of the Twitter/X exclusive WWE show.
Since his title win aired, Ricochet has only wrestled once on WWE TV, losing to Ilja Dragunov in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament on the May 6 Raw episode.
A match in a tournament to determine Ricochet’s next title challenger took place on Wednesday’s (May 22) WWE Speed episode, with Tyler Bate defeating Apollo Crews to earn a match against the One And Only.
In the comments section of this episode, a Twitter user asked for Ricochet to have more TV time with the Speed Title to let people know “this exists”.
Ricochet has now replied to this comment, sharing it with the caption:
“Exclusively on @X” Besides, we get 2M+ views. People know about it.
The first WWE Speed Title match between Ricochet and Johnny Gargano has amassed 2.5 million views.
Ilja Dragunov, who eliminated Ricochet from the King of the Ring tournament, was ultimately defeated by Jey Uso in the tournament quarter-finals.
In the Raw semi-final match on May 20, Jey Uso was defeated via submission by GUNTHER, who will compete in the finals at Saturday’s King & Queen of the Ring premium live event.
