Two current WWE champions have now officially been announced for a match set to take place in another promotion.
It was announced back in August that current World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day would be making an appearance at the upcoming Over The Top Wrestling tenth year anniversary show.
The show is set to take place on October 26 at National Stadium Dublin, and Balor and McDonagh’s opponents for the show have now been announced.
It was announced by OTT that the Judgment Day members will face off against OTT Tag Team Champions The Social Elite (Matthew Smyth & Sean Guinness) in the promotion’s first-ever all Irish main event.
Balor and McDonagh’s appearance is the latest in recent appearances from WWE stars in independent promotions.
Grayson Waller competed at a PWA event in Australia this past weekend, as well as Kofi Kingston recently making a rare independent appearance for Ego Pro in Chicago.
Balor and McDonagh recently defended their World Tag Team Championship against the New Day on Raw.
