WWE Champions To Face Off With NXT Champions?

A pair of current main roster WWE champions are seemingly set to face off against current WWE NXT champions.

On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, current WWE Tag Team Champions DIY made their return to the brand during a backstage interview.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa said that they returned to NXT to watch the NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom, who are set to defend their titles against OTM later on tonight.

Ciampa said that he heard people say Fraxiom were the greatest tag team in NXT history, before Gargano said that he spoke to Shawn Michaels, and got he and Ciampa front row seats for the title match tonight.

The match saw Fraxiom retain their titles, before looking up at DIY watching on, seemingly setting up a future match between the teams.

Tonight’s show also saw the crowning of the new number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, with Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend
