WWE Star Makes First Comments After Losing Championship

A WWE star has made their first comments since losing their championship, amid speculation about plans for their in-ring future.

In a result which shocked many fans, Stephanie Vaquer was defeated by Jacy Jayne on the May 27 NXT episode, with Jayne walking away with the NXT Women’s Championship.

Jayne’s win ended Vaquer’s 77 day reign with the gold, with the Chilean WWE star defeating Giulia in a Winner Takes All match to win the gold at NXT Roadblock in March.

Stephanie Vaquer has now taken to Twitter to share her first message since losing her title, with rumors swirling about what’s next for her.

The now-former champion shared a photo of herself with the gold, writing:

I’ve made history, and I’ll keep making it 🔥

Driven by the strength and love of my people. ❤️

Following heavy speculation about Vaquer potentially moving to the WWE main roster, a new report has indicated that there have been creative pitches made for Vaquer on the Raw brand.

Along with Vaquer, it has been reported that Jordynne Grace and Ricky Saints are also potentially set to be called up to the main roster, with all three said to be on more lucrative contracts than is typical on the brand.

Vaquer’s last successful NXT Women’s Title defence saw her defeat Jordynne Grace at the May 25 NXT Battleground Premium Live Event.
