A WWE star has addressed losing his first championship match in the company, following his recent signing.

After officially signing with WWE in October 2025, Elio LeFleur – fka Aigle Blanc made his NXT TV in-ring debut on the January 20 episode.

LeFleur challenged for Ethan Page’s WWE NXT North American Championship, ultimately coming up short, with Page pulling on LeFleur’s tights to gain the pinfall.

WWE NXT has shared a new video of LeFleur following the match.

Stating that this was only the beginning, he said:

“Some people might say, they’re always saying the same stuff, but that’s the reality. I was waiting for a moment like this for 10 years.

“10 years, everywhere on the independents, dreaming to be here, and now I am. Our first match, Ethan Page, NXT North American Championship, pushed him to his limit.

“He has to cheat to beat me, and he has to cheat because he knows that he is in danger when facing me for his title. It’s only the beginning.”
