The WWE transfer window has already been confirmed to affect stars on all three brands and now it looks like titles could be moving, too.
On December 6, the initial details of the transfer window were revealed on SmackDown.
Michael Cole would go on to confirm that in the lead-up to WWE Raw having its January 6, 2025 debut on Netflix on, there will be a “transfer window” in which brand switches will take place.
Sources have revealed that Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline are likely to be moving from SmackDown to WWE Raw.
Reigns has previously commented that his “dates for going into WrestleMania from Rumble forward” were not (at the time of that story) scheduled.
It was also revealed by PW Nexus that the changes were happening not only because of the move to Netflix but also to “shake up creative.”
According to PW Nexus’ sources, Netflix wants specific stars for the upcoming era of WWE Raw.
Stars are not the only things likely to see a shuffle among the three WWE brands with PW Nexus also stating:
“All superstars are eligible with the expectation that a title or two will be swapping brands”
At the time of writing, it’s not clear which championships could move brands, although the NXT and WWE Speed titles bear their specific brand names.
The WWE Women’s Speed Championship was added to the Twitter exclusive brand in August 2024 with Candice LeRae being the inaugural champion from October of that year.
A tournament for the WWE Women’s United States Championship is currently underway on SmackDown with the inaugural champion to be decided on the December 14 Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On WWE Raw, a tournament is taking place to determine the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion, though a date for that final is yet to be announced.
WrestleTalk will keep readers updated when more details on the transfer window are available.
