WWE Championship Tournament Finalist Confirmed

WWE Championship Tournament Finalist Confirmed WWE

The finalist in a tournament to determine a new champion in WWE has been confirmed on tonight’s November 4 episode of NXT.

Last week, Sol Ruca relinquished the WWE Speed Women’s Championship due to her injury.

She had the option to have someone defend the title on her behalf like she did with the NXT Women’s North American Title, but chose against doing that after Zaria lost the North American Title to Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc.

NXT General Manager Ava announced there would be a tournament to determine the new champion.

Tonight, the first match in the tournament took place, and with only four participants it means one finalist has been confirmed.

Zaria faced Wren Sinclair tonight, with Zaria scoring the win, meaning she will be part of the WWE Speed Women’s Championship match.

The other semi-final will take place next week and will be Skylar Raye vs Fallon Henley.

Skylar Raye is the new name for LFG season two winner Dani Sekelsky, who will be making her NXT TV in-ring debut in the tournament.

LFG season one winner Jasper Troy recently won a tournament to crown him the new challenger for the men’s WWE Speed Championship currently held by El Grande Americano.

On tonight’s NXT, Americano picked up a win against Josh Briggs, with Troy watching on from the crowd.
