WWE’s Jey Uso has commented on a recent presentation change, sharing a new nickname that pays homage to Bray Wyatt.
One of the many additions that the French fans contributed to the show at Backlash 2024 was the use of ‘fireflies’ in Jey Uso’s entrance.
While fans had previously just reciprocated Jey Uso’s taunt during his walk-outs, the crowd at Lyon’s LDLC Arena used the torches on their phones to make Jey’s entrance much more visually striking.
Jey Uso has now responded to a tweet asking whether or not people are enjoying the addition of fireflies to Jey Uso’s entrance.
Noting that the fireflies are his now, Jey responded:
Yall ain’t got no damn choice. Fireflies are mines now.

Many fans associate the use of phone torches with Bray Wyatt, who used to follow the ‘fireflies’ to the ring.
