Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has heaped praise on a current WWE star, calling them the best wrestler in the world overall.
Speaking on an Ask Me Anything edition of the Kurt Angle Show, Angle shared his thoughts on the best female wrestlers currently active.
Angle noted that Mercedes Mone is his favourite women’s wrestler who isn’t currently signed with WWE.
Stating that he thinks that Charlotte Flair is actually the greatest of all time, Angle said:
“She’s (Moné’s) a good one to pick. That would be my favorite female (outside of WWE).
“Listen, I love Charlotte Flair. I think she’s the best of all time. I actually think she’s the best wrestler in the world overall, I really do.
“I think Charlotte Flair has had more consistent five-star matches than any other person.
“She is really, really good. But Sasha Banks, Mercedes, she’s awesome too.”
Flair made her return to WWE TV on the June 9 edition of SmackDown, interrupting Asuka’s Women’s Championship segment, in which the Japanese star was awarded the new WWE Women’s Title.
