Another WWE star has joined up with Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green during tonight’s March 7 SmackDown.

Tonight’s show in Philadelphia played host to a street fight between Green and Michin for Green’s title in a rematch from the tournament final in December that saw Green become the inaugural champion.

Green initially had an advantage with Piper Niven at ringside, and since there were no disqualifications, Niven was able to get involved and help Green throughout the match.

However, B-Fab came out to ringside and put paid to that, with her and Niven fighting away and leaving a one-on-one situation between Green and Michin – or at least that’s what it seemed like.

As it looked like Michin may have been setting up to get the win after a diving splash to Green through a table, the pin attempt was broken up by someone in a hoodie.

The hooded person then revealed themselves to be Alba Fyre, who saluted Green, essentially confirming that she’s joining Niven as part of Green’s protection squad.

Fyre had most recently been on the Raw roster rather than SmackDown, but recently had her tag team with Isla Dawn ended as Dawn was released by WWE, leaving Fyre in need of new plans.

A few weeks ago, Blair Davenport was teased for a role in joining Green and Niven, but she was then released at the same time as Dawn.
