Chelsea Green Addresses New Slaygent Recruitment In Piper Niven’s WWE Absence WWE

Chelsea Green has addressed the possibility of recruiting a new Slaygent with Piper Niven currently absent from WWE television.

Having been former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Niven has since gone on to be a member of Green’s Secret Hervice, alongside Alba Fyre.

Niven is currently sidelined through injury, having been out of action since August.

Green spoke about her “Slaygent P” in a recent appearance on Gabby AF, saying that she didn’t want the Scot to feel replaceable, saying:

“With an injury, it’s tough because you never want someone to feel like they’re replaceable or disposable, because especially Piper, she’s not. She put in a lot of work at WWE and with this partnership, as my tag team partner and then obviously as a Slaygent.

“I just wanted to be respectful and let it breathe for a second, and after a couple of weeks, I was like, ‘Alright, Alba, we’ve gotta get to work. Nobody is gonna help us in this industry.’

“So I kind of ruminated a little bit and tried to think about what can we do, and I was just like, look, we don’t know where we’re going, we don’t know creatively what’s happening, so let’s hop on the ol’ internet and start something.

“Just get people talking, and that way, whatever happens, happens, and we go from there.”

With reports that The Secret Hervice could be getting a new member, Green has previously reflected on planting seeds on social media to gauge reaction.

She has also recently discussed her partnership in NXT with Ethan Page, hoping it translates to the WWE main roster.
