Report: WWE ‘Chomping At The Bit’ To Sign AEW Star

Amid speculation of his status, a new report has revealed that WWE is “champing at the bit” to sign AEW star Daniel Garcia.

At AEW All Out 2024, MJF defeated Daniel Garcia in the opener to the show. Post match, Garcia got a measure of revenge by delivering an avalanche piledriver to MJF to lay him out.

Since then, Garcia has been notably absent from AEW programming. Recent reports have indicated that Garcia still hasn’t re-signed a deal with the company.

On September 20, Cory Hays of PWNexus reported that WWE is eager to sign Daniel Garcia to a contract if he is to become available as a free agent. He wrote:

Sources tell me WWE is “chomping at the bit” to sign Daniel Garcia if he were to come available when his contract is set to expire next month. As of right now, Garcia has still not re-signed with AEW
