Scottish WWE Star Reflects On ‘Best Fans In The World’ Ahead Of Clash At The Castle WWE

With WWE Clash at the Castle emanating from Scotland on June 15, Joe Coffey has reflected on the country’s wrestling legacy.

Both WWE SmackDown and Clash at the Castle take place in Glasgow, Scotland on June 14 & 15 respectively, with Drew McIntyre recently returning home to ICW’s The Asylum to talk about his past and the importance of ICW to his career.

Gallus’ Joe Coffey, himself Glasgow born, has posted to Twitter to hype up the upcoming PLE but also Scotland and, more specifically, Glasgow, saying:

“So, rivalries aside, the Scottish superstars who are gonna be on that card, we’re all proud of you. You’re there for a reason, so go and smash it.

“And, even though the big fella is taking Clash at the Castle to the Hydro, there’s a reason why Scotland – Glasgow in particular – is a hot bed for pro-wrestling.

“I don’t even need to say, but we are who kept the lights on.

“So go smash it (and) to the rest of the roster, there’s a big sign in the Hydro, just before you walk to Gorilla and see the curtain: ‘It’s Time To Meet The Best Fans In The World’.

“So, embrace it, go enjoy it, because it’s going to be absolutely class.

“They’re the best fans in the world for a reason.”
