Unseen WWE Footage Of CM Punk & Roman Reigns At Survivor Series WarGames 2024 Revealed

WWE has shared unseen footage of CM Punk and Roman Reigns in their shark cage during the WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024.

Tensions were high during this match, with Punk serving as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline team during their battle against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed.

While Punk actually saved Roman several times in the match ahead of their team’s victory, the duo got off to a rocky start when sharing the shark cage, with Reigns first stopping Punk from entering the match to send Zayn instead, before Punk later pushed past Reigns to enter the match in the spot the Tribal Chief planned to.

WWE has now shared a video showing unseen moments from the shark cages in both WarGames matches. You can watch the full video on YouTube, or embedded below this news story.

This footage revealed an interesting reaction between Punk and Zayn when just those two and Reigns were in the shark cage:

Punk: “I’m going. I don’t care what he (Reigns) says, I’m going.”

Zayn: “Well, maybe on his order, we’re on his order. He’s the Chief for a reason. Look, we have to work together so we’re all on the same page.”

Punk: “Okay, alright.”

This may have influenced Reigns’ decision to deny Punk entry into the match.

WWE also shared extended footage revealing that CM Punk asked Reigns several times if he planned to go next, when it was just those two alone together in the cage.

This was directly before Punk pushed past Reigns when the shark cage opened, so Punk shoving Reigns seems to have been premeditated.

We are still waiting to find out what favour Punk was promised by Paul Heyman to compete in this match.
