The October 1 episode of WWE NXT saw CM Punk back in Chicago, something that Roxanne Perez later threw back at him.
Punk was on hand for the CW Network debut of NXT to officiate the match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams.
With Williams beating Page for the NXT Championship, the former champion has fired shots at Punk over his past reputation.
Page isn’t the only one to take the time to troll CM Punk, however, with Roxanne Perez sharing a photo after the show.
Perez retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia thanks to help from a returning Cora Jade.
Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story with Jade’s return having been discussed in a recent Perez interview.
Having previously warned Punk to stay away from NXT, Perez had pointed out that Chicago would no longer be Punk’s home as she would take it as hers.
The comment was seen by Punk’s WWE Bad Blood opponent, Drew McIntyre, who declared himself proud of Perez.
Having made good on her promise by retaining the WWE NXT Women’s Championship, Perez shared a photo alongside Punk with the caption:
“Told ya Chicago was going to be my town @CMPunk #TuesdayNightRox #AndForever”
The photo, which can be seen below, shows a happy Perez alongside CM Punk caught mid-eye-roll.
After last night’s WWE NXT, Punk had a gift for all the fans in attendance in the form of free pizza.
Punk now heads to WWE Bad Blood on October 5 to face Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match.
