‘Karma’: WWE Star Addresses Cody Rhodes Injury Update After Kevin Owens Attack WWE

A notable WWE star has addressed Cody Rhodes’ injury update following Kevin Owens’ attack after Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The December 14 NBC special was headlined by a WWE Championship bout, with the American Nightmare putting his title on the line against Kevin Owens.

While Rhodes was ultimately victorious after two referee bumps and delivering a Cross Rhodes onto a chair, Owens brutalised Rhodes after the show, dropping him with a package piledriver.

With Rhodes taken out of the arena on a stretcher, WWE.com has since reported that Rhodes has been diagnosed with axial compression of the cervical spine, as well as a cervical strain with spasm.

Kofi Kingston has now reacted to this WWE status update, sharing a video of Rhodes telling him and Xavier Woods that they should be ashamed of themselves from last Monday’s (December 9) Raw episode.

Believing that what goes around comes around, Kingston captioned the post:

“Karma.”

Kingston and Woods turned heel on the December 2 Raw episode, when they notably rejected Big E, arguing that he left them and chose his new life over the New Day.

An update has emerged on WWE’s plans for Kevin Owens following his Saturday Night’s Main Event post-show attack, which you can read more about right here.
