Cody Rhodes Says WWE Star Doesn’t Realize How Special They Are

Cody Rhodes has praised a fellow member of the WWE roster, noting that they don’t realise how special they are to the fans.

The American Nightmare shared his thoughts on the current injured Chelsea Green in a recent interview, revealing his pride for the former WWE Women’s United States Champion.

Speaking to the Chicago Sun-Times, Cody Rhodes reflected on Chelsea Green as a ‘survivor’ spirit of the WWE star, stating:

“Chelsea Green is, I think, (someone) people in the business will say, like a survivor.

“I’m very, very proud of her. I don’t think she realizes how special she is to the fans. And I think she still thinks the glass of water in front of her is her last, and it’s not, but the good wrestlers always think that’s the last one.

“And I wish that she could take an outside perspective and look at what she’s done, and know she’s done a lot, and it’s an indication that she can do even more.”

Due to her injury, Green was replaced in the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship, with Le Hiedra teaming up with Ethan Page in a losing effort against Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice on February 7.

Following the loss at the aforementioned AAA on Fox show, Chelsea Green responded with mocking criticism of the management in the WWE-owned promotion.

Cody Rhodes has recently revealed who he wants to eliminate the most at WWE Elimination Chamber this Saturday in Chicago.
