WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has commented on the possibility of Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall making the transition to pro-wrestling.
Aspinall recently appeared alongside Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at the October 16 house show in Manchester, England.
Speaking with The Schmo, Cody Rhodes noted that he believes Aspinal would ‘fit like a glove’ if he chose to make the jump to WWE.
Believing the UFC star would be a ‘meat and potatoes’ style wrestler, Rhodes said:
“He is what we’d call Meat and Potatoes. Meat and Potatoes is a lot of slugging it out. A lot of big forearms to the back, a lot of chops, not leaving your feet much.
“When you’re as big as he is and as athletic as he is, he’s really going to fill that big man spot for pro wrestling. If he was to step in at any point, it would fit like a glove,”
Cody Rhodes recently indicated that he’d consider taking on a new WWE role, which you can read more about at this link.
