WWE has today announced a collaboration with a major European Football Club ahead of this Sunday’s Clash In Paris event.
With WWE set to return to France this weekend for the first Clash In Paris premium live event, WWE has now announced a first of it’s kind partnership with French football juggernauts Paris Saint-Germain.
The partnership will ‘explore many opportunities’ in different fields, including the creation of digital content and experiences linking PSG players with WWE superstars.
“This strategic collaboration, first of its kind, will explore many opportunities in different fields, including the creation of original content, exclusive collections of derivative products and distribution, initiatives to promote fan engagement, community-oriented programs, as well as unique experiences linking PSG players and WWE Superstars.”
WWE’s tour of France begins with this Friday’s episode of SmackDown taking place in Lyon, with Clash In Paris and next week’s episode of Raw taking place in PSG’s home city of Paris.
WWE recently announced a partnership with a number of European Football Clubs to release special custom championship titles for the teams.
