The New York Post revealed that ESPN’s Joe Tessitore will be joining WWE later this year.

According to the New York Post report, sources state that the 53-year-old will remain at ESPN and ABC where he is a broadcaster for college football and Top Rank boxing.

According to the report, he will lead a three-man booth featuring Corey Graves and Wade Barrett.

Graves and Barrett are currently on the SmackDown commentary table with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on WWE Raw.

With the New York Post stating that it’s not known whether Tessitore will be on Raw or SmackDown (despite leading a team of Graves & Barrett), it was also noted that “a WWE spokesperson declined to comment” while “Tessitore could not be reached for comment” as to where the new signing will end up.

The report goes on to note that Tessitore was the “first media client” of current WWE president Nick Khan who was a sport ‘super-agent’ prior to joining the company.

Tessitore also reportedly has a “great relationship” with WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H.

In 2024, WWE SmackDown heads to the USA Network with WWE Raw moving to Netflix in 2025.

Triple H has recently revealed the issues that will no longer be a challenge when WWE Raw moves to Netflix.

With the current television deal for Raw ending in 2024, it was revealed that the show will remain on USA Network for the final quarter of this year.
