WWE Name Compares Former Women’s Champion To Brock Lesnar WWE

WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Road Dogg (Brian James) has praised former SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, comparing her to Brock Lesnar.

Many fans have drawn comparisons between Rousey and Lesnar, with both stars’ movesets inspired by their successful runs in the UFC.

Speaking on his Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg noted that Rousey’s selling reminds him of the Beast Incarnate.

Noting that she has impressed him since her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, Road Dogg said:

“I think some of her work as of late, actually, is some of her best stuff. She reminds me of Brock Lesnar with her selling.

“A lot of her selling for Raquel Gonzalez and stuff like that, she took a beating, and I don’t know, she has kind of earned my respect, especially in the squared circle.”

“She has blown me away ever since. She wants her stuff to be good. She really wants it, and for somebody to come from, like, I don’t know, from a legitimate sports standpoint, to come from somewhere and be really good at what I did is impressive to me.

“Like, you could really beat me up right now but want to learn how to not do that and make it look good.”

Rousey last wrestled at WrestleMania 39, winning the WrestleMania Showcase tag-team bout alongside Shayna Baszler.

Brock Lesnar is now feuding with Cody Rhodes, after attacking the WrestleMania main eventer on Raw.
