Tonight’s Smackdown show is set to be rather different from many of the previous weeks. A lot of the male roster have been left stranded in Saudi Arabia, so WWE has flown out several NXT stars for the show.
With Lacey Evans, Natalya and Lana being the only female stars to make the trip to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, WWE are set to focus on the female portion of their roster with tonight’s show.
Two weeks ago on Smackdown on FOX, Nikki Cross defeated Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke, Carmella, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to become number one contender to the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
As a result, WWE on FOX has announced on Twitter that Cross will challenge Bayley for her title on tonight’s show.

It was also confirmed last week that New Day will challenge The Revival for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. However, it is believed that the match will not take place tonight.
