WWE Confirms Rumored Guest Appearance For SmackDown Tonight

On a night that already marks the return of Kurt Angle to WWE for this birthday celebration, now another guest has been confirmed.

Earlier today we brought you the report of a variety of Kurt Angle specific props that have been brought in for the show, including in reference to Angle’s infamous milk segment.

Tonight’s show takes place in Pittsburgh, the home town of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

WWE has announced a Kurt Angle birthday celebration segment for tonight’s show.

However, he’s not the only Olympic Gold Medalist set to be in Pittsburgh.

As now confirmed by WWE, the rumors are correct and Gable Steveson is not only in Pittsburgh, but he has been announced as planned to appear on the show.

With WWE’s Twitter account sharing:

“Get to know Olympic gold medalist @GableStevesonwho you will see TONIGHT on #SmackDown 👀”

Along with the caption, a clip package featuring more details as to who Gable Steveson is including some of his significant achievements in the field of wrestling, including a decorated collegiate career.
