WWE has taken to their Twitter account to confirm the signing of former TNA X-Division Champion, DJZ. It was reported nearly two months ago that the high-flyer had agreed to join the promotion, with an offer being made by WWE at the end of February 2019.

WWE had the following to say on their newest signee, and dubbed him as “one of the world’s best high-flying Superstars”:
One of the world’s top high-flying Superstars has come to the WWE Performance Center.
Michael Paris, better known to sports-entertainment fans as “DJZ,” reported for training this week at WWE’s facility in Orlando, Fla.
A professional grappler for nearly 15 years, Paris specializes in dynamic, top-rope offense, and has put many competitors away with moves like the 450 Splash and the 630 Splash. He has experience wrestling internationally, including in Mexico, Japan and the United Kingdom. Paris has also captured dozens of championships on his journey to WWE, such as the International Wrestling Cartel’s Super Indy Championship, a title formerly held by the likes of AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole and Corey Graves.
WWE has gone on somewhat of a spending spree recently, with the company revealing the signings of Garza Jr, Shane Strickland and KUSHIDA, as well as some DJZ knows very well from their time together in TNA/Impact, Trevor Lee. DJZ has reported to the WWE Performance Center, but it is unknown at this time what plans WWE and NXT have for him, and when he will be making his debut on the black and gold brand.
