WWE has congratulated Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and AEW star Andrade El Idolo on their marriage.
Photos and videos have emerged from the stars’ wedding ceremony in Mexico. WWE has since wished the couple well, sharing the following to WWE.com:
Wedding bells ring with Flair! On Friday evening, Charlotte Flair married former WWE Superstar Andrade in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico. The Opportunity posted a stunning picture of the happy couple.
WWE.com congratulates Charlotte and Andrade as they begin this exciting new chapter in their lives.
Andrade’s WWE release was granted at his request in March 2021, with the star signing with AEW that June. The AEW star notably attended the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in April, ahead of WrestleMania 38.
Flair had been given time off for the ceremony, last wrestling at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8. An update recently emerged on Flair’s expected WWE return date.
