WWE may be thinking about having some more inter-brand appearances going forward depending on what happens tonight.
Tonight’s WWE Raw will see SmackDown’s Universal Champion Roman Reigns appear on the show alongside the Usos for a match against WWE Champion Big E and the New Day.
According to WrestleVotes, there has been talk in WWE about possibly doing this more often with its top names.
If tonight’s Raw does a successful viewership number, then it’s likely WWE will think about having its top stars appear on the opposite show more often going forward.
WrestleVotes tweeted:
Some chatter I heard over the weekend included how important tonight’s RAW number is. Draft plans aside, w/ their biggest full time star in Roman Reigns being advertised to work tonight’s RAW, a bigger # than normal would open the box to showcasing main superstars on both brands.
WrestleTalk.com will have live coverage of tonight’s Raw, so stay tuned for that, as well as the TV ratings and viewership when they come out tomorrow.
