An interesting update has emerged on Malakai Black and Miro potentially returning to WWE, amid speculation about their next moves.
While there have been rumors swirling about these stars possible making WWE comebacks for some time, speculation picked up following confirmation that Black and Miro have finished up with AEW.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both Black and Miro have been talked about by WWE Creative.
Meltzer wrote:
“Those in WWE had said creative had been talking about Black and Miro”
News broke of Miro’s AEW departure on February 10, with reports revealing Miro and AEW have mutually agreed the termination of his contract, with the two sides said to have been working towards an agreement for “some time” after he had requested his release in the Fall last year.
Earlier that day, Black was officially removed from the AEW roster page, with reports indicating that he became a free agent.
Ricky Starks has already made the jump from AEW to WWE, appearing on the February 11 NXT episode.
