The opening match of WWE Crown Jewel 2024 has seemingly been confirmed via a new report.
Much of the build towards tonight’s WWE Crown Jewel event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has been surrounding the two matches for the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championships, with Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER and Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax set to do battle.
Despite WWE hyping up each bout, many fans have pondered whether that would be enough to earn the main event spot on the night, particularly with Roman Reigns & The Usos reuniting to take on The Bloodline elsewhere on the card.
Well, now we have the answer as to WWE’s plans as according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. The Bloodline will open tonight’s PLE, with Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER taking the main event spot.
This follows confirmation from Michael Cole on last night’s SmackDown regarding which Bloodline participants will take part in the six-man tag team match.
According to Cole, The Bloodline’s team will consist of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga – with Tonga Loa accompanying them at ringside.
