An update has emerged on the status of Paul Heyman for today’s WWE Crown Jewel premium live event.

The show opened with the Roman Reigns & Usos vs Bloodline six-man tag team match, which saw a big development play out after the bell.

After Sikoa pinned Reigns, the Bloodline attempted a post-match attack, but were cut off by Sami Zayn.

Zayn sidedwith Reigns and The Usos, but inadvertently struck Reigns with a big kick when Sikoa dodged out of the way, much to the frustration of Jimmy Uso.

Someone else who was involved in the Bloodline saga, and is expected to get back involved at some point, is Paul Heyman, who was taken out by the new Bloodline months ago.
