WWE Star Appears At 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards Crunchyroll

WWE SmackDown star Zelina Vega presented awards at the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, Japan on March 4

During the awards ceremony, Vega presented the awards for Best Romance and Best Anime Song.

The Best Romance award went to Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic. SiM’s ‘The Rumbling’ from Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 took the award for Best Anime Song (as it should’ve, it’s a banger).

Grateful for the opportunity, Vega took to Twitter with photos of herself at the event, writing:

What an absolute honor this was 🥲 thank you @Crunchyroll for an anime dream come true!!

The 2021 Queen’s Crown tournament winner has now called out Rhea Ripley, following Ripley attacking Santos Escobar on the March 3 edition of SmackDown.

Vega last wrestled on the February 3 edition of SmackDown, competing in an Elimination Chamber qualifier fourway bout.

This bout was ultimately won by Natalya, who went on to compete in the Raw Women’s Championship #1 contender’s Chamber match at the February 18 event.

Asuka won the Elimination Chamber bout, and will challenge for Bianca Belair’s gold at WrestleMania 39.
