With WWE NXT having its CW Network debut on October 1, details of an upcoming special being aired on the network have been revealed.
The channel premiere is set to be a stacked show, with CM Punk already confirmed to be making an appearance.
It has also recently been reported that the Motor City Machine Guns could be making their debuts on or before the CW Network premiere.
WWE NXT isn’t the only thing coming to the CW Network, however, with PW Insider reporting that WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain will air on September 28.
The special will air at 8PM Eastern and is listed as a two hour broadcast with PWInsider noting that “a version” of the special previously debuted earlier this year.
Elsewhere, WWE is set to run a series of prime-time specials on NBC potentially reviving the Saturday Night’s Main Event name.

The project saw a delayed launch with it being reported that this was “due to the amount of footage” that was filmed over WrestleMania 40 weekend in April 2024.
