WWE stars have addressed the recent disbandment of a faction which started with an act of betrayal back in April.

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo struck Tony D’Angelo during The Family’s match against DarkState at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver on April 19.

From there, Stacks and D’Angelo would feud, with Lorenzo becoming NXT Heritage Cup Champion on June 24.

With it announced on the July 8 NXT episode that the D’Angelo Family has officially come to an end, now-former members of the group have commented on their time together, ahead of heading their separate ways.

Adriana Rizzo, who joined The Family in late 2024, has now shared her memories of her time with D’Angelo, tweeting:

“Being apart of The D’Angelo Family is a chapter of my life that I’ll cherish forever.

“We laughed, fought, celebrated, and built something special together.

“This wasn’t just a faction—it was a family. As we all set off on our own paths,

“I’ll carry the memories, lessons, and bonds we made for life.

“La famiglia per sempre.”

The tweet was accompanied by a video, as can be seen below this news story, featuring the Wiz Khalifa track “See You Again”.

That track was used in the 2015 movie Furious 7 as a tribute to the late star of the franchise, Paul Walker, who passed away in November 2013.

Luca Crusifino would also share his thoughts on the demise of The Family in a retweet of Rizzo’s post, commenting:

“The family I loved.

“The family I bled for.

“The family I left everything behind for.

“The family that turned its back on me.

“Next week, it ends once and for all.”

Stacks wouldn’t take the tribute video well, with a tweet of his own suggesting it made him feel quite ill, posting:

“Watching this…I almost barfed up my dinner. 🤮”

At the time of writing, D’Angelo hasn’t reacted on Twitter, with his last post dated June 27 with the comment:

“Who do I trust? Me.”

D’Angelo’s tweet would be accompanied by a video from the movie Scarface with Tony Montana (Al Pacino) delivering that very line.

Stacks may have found himself a new opponent in the form of Jersey Shore’s The Situation, with the pair recently exchanging barbed messages.
