Surprising WWE Star Interested In NJPW Run WWE/NJPW

WWE Raw star Dana Brooke has now revealed that she’d be interested in a run with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

NJPW and WWE recently worked together, with Karl Anderson competing for the Japanese promotion several times as their NEVER Openweight Champion following his WWE return.

Since then, many have speculated that a deal could be made for the likes of AJ Styles or Finn Balor to visit the Land of the Rising Sun while under contract with WWE.

Speaking with Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc, Dana Brooke noted that while she feels WWE is her home, she’d love to wrestle in a NJPW ring.

When asked if she’d be interested in experiencing what a NJPW match is like, Brooke said:

“Yeah, it’s amazing because I do work with quite a few girls that have that experience as well, too, in the WWE ring.

“And it always feels like they push me to my limits. They elevate me. They bring out what’s best in me. But WWE is always home. It feels like it’s always home.

“So, given that opportunity, I would have to talk it over, and we would go from there.”

NJPW and STARDOM notably introduced the IWGP Women’s Championship in late-2022, a title which will be defended in both Japan and the US.

Former WWE star Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) will challenge for KAIRI’s title at NJPW Battle in the Valley, which will take place in San Jose, California on February 18.

Brooke last wrestled during Monday’s (February 6) WWE Main Event taping, against Indi Hartwell.
