A former WWE star has shared a humorous goodbye message to a pivotal and well-received mainstream movie role.
Although Dave Bautista had appeared in movies before 2014, it was that year’s performance as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy that brought attention to the former two-time WWE Champion.]
He would reprise the role for the 2017 sequel as well as find his way into other big screen blockbusters including 2015’s Spectre, 2017’s Blade Runner 2049, 2018’s Hotel Artemis and 2021’s Dune.
His association with Marvel Studios would see appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, along with Thor: Love and Thunder, with his story arc coming to an end with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 receiving its United States cinematic release on May 5, Bautista has shared a fun video on social and a message to fans of his performance as Drax the Destroyer.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was released in the United Kingdom on May 3.
