WWE & DAZN Announce Partnership To Promote Katie Taylor Vs. Amanda Serrano

WWE and DAZN have announced a partnership to promote the upcoming Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano boxing fight.

Taylor and Serrano are set to make history on Saturday, when they will face off in the first ever women’s bout to headline Madison Square Garden.

DAZN has confirmed that WWE will have a presence throughout fight week, with two top WWE names set to renew their rivalry… sort of.

Team Katie Taylor will be led by Becky Lynch, and Team Amanda Serrano will be led by Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Both WWE stars are set to attend Friday’s weigh-in.

DAZN has also revealed that Sheamus and Finn Balor will join Lynch on Team Taylor (no points for guessing Taylor’s nationality), as well as Sasha Banks and Shayna Baszler. Damian Priest, Queen Zelina, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will join Belair on Team Serrano.

It has also been stated that the winner of Saturday’s fight will receive a custom WWE Women’s Title, raising the stakes exponentially.

Belair notably defeated Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38 earlier this month.
