WWE/DC Studios
Former WWE Champion Randy Orton appears to be interested in a major movie role, amid speculation about an upcoming casting.
With James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Studios releasing its first major movie since its revamp in Superman, there has been a lot of talk about other projects in this DC Universe.
With an official casting for the DCU version of Batman still yet to be announced, Randy Orton has indicated that he thinks he’d be right for the role.
Orton re-shared a post on Twitter from ScreenTime, asking “who do you think should play Batman in James Gunn’s DCU?”
The WWE star replied with one emoji:
👋🏼
Ironically, Randy Orton’s long-time rival John Cena has a role in the DCU, with Cena’s Peacemaker surviving through the change of management at DC Studios.
Orton and Cena wrestled what appears to be their final match against one another at Backlash in May, with Cena defeating Orton to retain the WWE Championship.
WWE’s plans for John Cena’s final opponent have been revealed, which you can read more about right here.
