WWE/AEW
A former AEW star, now signed with TNA Wrestling, has reacted to their upcoming WWE debut match, taking place on NXT.
WWE Battleground saw Mike Santana make an appearance, running into No Quarter Catch Crew during a backstage segment.
With Santana and Tavion Heights getting into an exchange, a match was set up for the May 27 episode of NXT.
Mike Santana has now reacted to the match ahead of NXT tonight, sharing his plans for the match.
Sharing his thoughts on Twitter, the TNA Wrestling star noted that the very match itself was “wild”, tweeting:
“THIS IS WILD.
“I’m taking @TavionHeights and #WWENXT on a walk through where I come from…
“BIG BX IN THE BUILDING!”
With Trick Williams having defeated Joe Hendry for the TNA World Championship at WWE NXT Battleground, Santana has also set his sights on addressing that situation.
Having made his wrestling debut in 2007, Santana has competed in Impact Wrestling, leaving the company in 2019 to join AEW.
His 2024 departure from AEW saw Santana make a return to TNA Wrestling at Rebellion that April.
Facing Tavion Heights marks Santana’s first match in a WWE ring, although he did previously reveal talks with the company following his departure from AEW.
THIS IS WILD.
