WWE has officially announced a “debut” for next week’s May 2 episode of NXT TV on the USA Network.
A few weeks back, it was announced on NXT that Tank Ledger, Oba Femi, and Dani Palmer would all be making their debuts soon.
Last week, Ledger debuted in a loss to Joe Coffey, and last night at Spring Breakin’, Femi debuted with a dominant win over Oro Mensah.
And next week, it’ll be Dani Palmer’s turn.
WWE.com writes:
The up-and-coming Dani Palmer will make her highly anticipated in-ring debut next week on NXT.
The electrifying Palmer will look to captivate the audience and keep growing as an NXT Superstar just as she’s done at the WWE Performance Center.
Tune in to WWE NXT at 8/7 C on USA to see Palmer make her incredible NXT debut!
It’s worth pointing out that this will not actually be Palmer’s NXT TV debut.
She’s actually already had two matches on the show, one being a battle royal on January 10, and one being a singles match where she lost to Stevie Turner on January 31.
Ledger, Femi and Palmer had all wrestled a number of times on NXT Level Up, but Palmer is the only one of this batch of “debutants” that had already wrestled on NXT TV proper.
As well as Palmer’s “debut”, here’s what else is on tap for NXT next week:
Wes Lee (c) w/Tyler Bate vs. Drew Gulak w/Charlie Dempsey – NXT North American Championship
Gigi Dolin vs. Jacy Jayne
Joe Coffey vs. Joe Gacy in a match with stipulations regarding the Dyad who were recently denied their release from WWE
Axiom vs. SCRYPTS
Damon Kemp vs. Eddy Thorpe
