It was confirmed a few months ago after weeks of speculation that Ben Carter, who had previously worked some matches on AEW Dark, has decided to instead join WWE to be part of the NXT UK brand.
It is now being reported by Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT that Ben Carter is going to be debuting on next week’s NXT UK show, the first for the brand in 2021.
McCarthy confirmed that Ben Carter is going to be debuting on next week’s show as part of Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions. This will be the first time we’ve seen Carter on an NXT UK show.
We have been informed that Carter will make his debut with WWE’s UK arm on Thursday, January 7.
Carter, just 22, will appear on Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions and it will be the WWE Universe’s first chance to catch the innovative star.
It has been reported that AEW was interested in bringing Ben Carter into the company, so it certainly seems like wrestling higher-ups all make high hopes for Carter.
