An update has emerged on the status of a departing WWE star, with the former champion now officially a free agent.
Carlito was one of several names who announced WWE departures on June 1, with the former Judgment Day member noting that his contract was set to expire two weeks on from that date, and it wouldn’t be renewed.
Exactly two weeks later, Carlito has taken to Instagram to share a post stating that he’s “back in business.”
Updating his followers on his status, Carlito captioned the post:
Back in business!! #fullyavailable #nocontract #libre #ready #noworries
Carlito’s first post-WWE booking was recently announced, with the now-former WWE star set to appear at WrestleCon over SummerSlam weekend.
Sarah Logan/Valhalla and R-Truth also announced their departures around the same time as Carlito.
Truth has since returned to WWE, attacking John Cena at the June 7 Money in the Bank event. He will face John Cena on the June 20 SmackDown episode.
Carlito is notably the WWC Puerto Rico Champion, winning the gold prior to his WWE departure announcement.
